Poverty in America

Can you see the difference or similarity in the Philippines and America?

Comments are welcome.

It seems like politicians do make an effort to make the public know that they have plans for improvement and progress. Yet, when it comes to actual implementation of their plans, it seems that everything goes to waste. The reality that there is poverty all over the world still is predominant and I guess our leaders are responsible, one way or the other, to make a change. The only difference I see between America and the Philippines is that at least the Americans have a shelter and an income.

If these people call themselves ‘poor’, then you could just imagine how the majority of the Filipinos live.

A country mired in poverty reflects how our society is organized. It reflects who the past leaders have achieved and nothing to show for it. At worst it brings the people to the road of perdition.

We do have a tragic history.
